My favorite things about this class were the group critiques. At first I hated them but now I realized that they really helped me become a better writer and actually made me enjoy writing. My favorite text that was read that day was Tatiyana's story about someone we both knew. Hearing that tati knew so much about this girl and her life, was so surprising to me considering that I was pretty close to her as well. (at least i thought i was) I feel very proud of myself because i didn't think that i would ever be able to write so much about one thing. The most i've ever written before this class was probably around 11 pages.
